Reaching Out to Haiti in its Time of Need

The earthquake that devastated the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, and surrounding areas in January 2010 killed more than 200,000 people, injured 300,000 and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses. Haiti, the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere before the earthquake, is struggling to recover.

Protecting the Ribeira Valley
